Lynden Lyman presently serves as Executive Consultant to Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse. Lynden is a licensed attorney with over 23 years experience in unclaimed property law and auditing and is considered one of the leading unclaimed property experts in the U.S.

Lynden has worked with every unclaimed property program in the United States (and several in Canada) on the drafting and adoption of unclaimed property legislation. Lynden also drafted the unclaimed demutualization provisions that were adopted by a majority of states and authored audit protocols for unclaimed demutualization proceeds

One of Lynden’s notable accomplishments is his work as contributing editor of the five volume legal treatise, Unclaimed Property Law and Reporting Forms (published by Matthew Bender & Co.), the leading authority on unclaimed property law and administration for the last 22 years. In his work on the treatise, Lynden has reviewed and annotated every state unclaimed property law.

Lynden earned a B.A. in English from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a J.D. from the University of Iowa.
